Cabo Verde Competence Center carries out joint mission with CERMI to Sal island
Cdc 3C conducted a prospecting mission to Sal Island in conjunction with CERMI on June 13-17.
With the great objective of establishing strategic and operational partnerships with public entities and private companies, namely the hotel and industrial sector, aiming at creating favorable and sustainable conditions for the expansion and decentralization of the services of the two Centers.
The Centers were represented by the Director General of CDC 3C, Edson Mendes and CERMI Executive Administrator, Denise Andrade, who met with institutions that contain direct and indirect responsibilities for the management of training and promotion of skills necessary to meet the development challenges of Sal Island in the different sectors of economic activity, mainly in the hotel and industrial sector.
The mission also served to prospect customers and projects in the areas of energy efficiency, renewable energy and electric mobility. At this stage, cooperation protocols were signed with APP and Hilton Hotel respectively with CDC 3C and CERMI.
During the mission, the Centers participated in the international event called “Cape Verde Investment Forum 2022” which was held on June 16 and 17 under the motto “CAPE VERDE IS OPEN TO THE WORLD” and with the objective of promoting the strengthening of private investments in the national economy, through intermediation and facilitation of the access of national and international entrepreneurs and promoters to national and international capital markets.
