A training course on Energy Efficiency in Service Buildings took place for engineers and professionals linked to the energy and construction sectors of Cape Verde, from 3 to 7 February 2020.

This training session was promoted by the National Directorate for Industry, Trade and Energy (DNICE) and executed by Cabo Verde Competence Center (CdC 3C).
The training aimed to layout the concepts and practical procedures for conducting an energy audit and to provide participants with skills to respond to the challenges of future regulation of the energy performance of buildings. The training session also presented some aspects of the new institutional and regulatory frameworks from which new business models will emerge, such as energy service companies.
