The Cooperation Protocol, signed between the two entities, aims to establish a strategic and operational partnership for joint action in the field of vocational training in favor of greater diversification of the training offer, made available by the two entities in close harmony and alignment with the current and future skills needs of the labour market.
To contribute to accelerating the internationalization process, CDC 3C aims to build a network of international partners that can be vectors and facilitators of strengthening CDC 3C’s positioning in new markets.
The mission was carried out with the macro-objective of establishing strategic partnerships and positioning itself with national entities and companies as a facilitator and trusted consultant for the Energy Transition of São Tomé e Príncipe.
With the great objective of establishing strategic and operational partnerships with public entities and private companies, namely the hotel and industrial sector, aiming at creating favorable and sustainable conditions for the expansion and decentralization of the services of the two Centers.
The protocol signed between the two intuitions, represented by Mr. Edson Mendes – Director General of CDC 3C and Mr. Avelino Couto – Managing Partner of MS, was basically the formalization of a partnership that had already been established and happened today, May 26, 2022, the day of the closing of the first activity held jointly, the training in “Handling and Filling of CO2 Bottles” given to the technicians of Cavibel and Ceris.
As part of the company’s strategy of diversification and decentralization of services, the Cabo Verde Competence Center (CDC 3C) makes a mission to prospect the island of Maio to create and strengthen relations with personalities and public and private entities.
Meeting held today had as main objective to analyse the possibility of partnerships in the area of training and provision of services, particularly in the areas of medicinal and industrial gases.
Cabo Verde Competence Center visited yesterday the facilities of ECCBC Cape Verde with the aim of finalizing preparations for the implementation of the first phase of the training project for technicians and machine operators in the areas of: Industrial Mechanics; electricity and control and; metalworking and machining.
The General Director of CDC 3C participated as a speaker, presenting the Cape Verde experience in the energy efficiency sector and talking essentially about the lessons learned barriers and recommendations for an effective national compliance framework for the development of the energy efficiency market in the electrical equipment sector.
After being recognized by UNESCO as a case of Innovation and good practices in the area of vocational training, the Centro Competências Cape Verde – CdC 3C – participated in an international virtual forum (BILT Learning Forum 2021) held from 7 to 9 December.
The Cape Verde Competence Center Project (GAIA collaborative platform for professional training) is recognized by UNESCO (International Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training) as an example of Innovation and Learning Practice.
